My personal story...
My name is Rob and I am 36 years old. I was a 22 year long two pack a day smoker, which equated to a $11.00 a day habit. That is $4015.00 a year just on cigarettes! Not to mention the hassles of buying cigarettes, the stench, the mess, etc. I lived my life around when I could smoke. The very first thing I did in the morning was smoke a cigarette. After that first smoke, I brewed a pot of coffee. I smoked another cigarette while the coffee pot perculated. Once I finished that cigarette I got a cup of coffee, and you guessed it, smoked another cigarette. I even smoked before and after I took a shower! My family was always waiting on me to smoke. Cigarettes literally had a grip on my life!
My friend Chris came by one day and showed me this funny looking pen type thing he said was an "e-cigarette". Now I'm kind of a geek with computers, audio/video equipment and such so this kinda stuff intrigues me. Remembering back a few years prior I thought about an article I read in some technology magazine about a future "electronic cigarette". It was going to cost several hundred dollars, run on a battery, yada yada yada. Cool I thought, but probably a high priced gimmick, and oh by the way, where is my $5.29 pack of cigarettes because I want to smoke! Chris kept telling me how he hadn't smoked in 4-5 days and I should really try it out. He kept telling me how my real cigarette stunk and tasted nasty. Like a typical smoker I kinda gave him a funny look as I took another puff from my 4000+ carcinogen containing tobacco device and proceeded to inhale and exhale my throat burning, cough producing, nasty smelling smoke. However, being the geek that I am, I got on the internet (after Chris left, LOL) and read up on them. I was definately intrigued. I remember Chris telling me where he bought his at on the internet so that was one of the sites I checked out. Chris' biggest complaint however was that getting supplies on demand meant driving 45+ miles from his hometown to the mall in Tulsa to get cartridges. Oh, and by the way, the cartridges were $10 per package of 5 at the mall! However, with my "want it now buy it now even if the price is double" mentality, I ran to the mall myself to buy a starter kit. That was about a $125 trip and I was soon returning to purchase more cartridges!
I began reading all the information I could find on the internet about various models, tips, tricks, liquids, etc. I started buying kits and supplies from various web sites because I wanted to see how the various models worked, how the different liquids performed, etc. I spent several hundred dollars over a couple of weeks...I think the UPS man was tired of stopping at my house everyday and my desk began looking like a laboratory! I was taking things apart to see how they worked...tinkering with this and soldering that. My wife, bless her heart, thought I was going bezerk! I tried various models, compared their quality and so forth. I used them all for a good 3-4 weeks. I even built my own push button passthrough cables, etc. Remember, I am a geek!
I decided to take the plunge and dip into our "rainy day" account and start the business and here we are!

Hi Folks! It's been almost 14 months since VaporKings.com was started and the success of this business has been phenomenal thanks to our many faithful customers. We have shipped over 11,000 orders since we started and have served over 4500 customers all over the USA (including Hawaii, Guam and Puerto Rico) and Canada! I am still today a success story for the e-Cigarette not having been a regular tobacco user for 14 months now. I have smoked probably 35-40 cigarettes in the last year just for the heck of it and I usually get about 3-4 puffs down and put it out. They just absolutely are horrible to me now. My lung function has greatly improved, my morning cough is completely gone and I don't stink like an ashtray anymore! One year ago I would have been gasping for air walking on the treadmill after five minutes. Today I get off after 40 minutes only because my legs hurt!
Again I'm not trying to sell you anything because I want you to make the choice to change but I will tell you that after 2 1/2 packs a day for over 23 years, anyone can do it. Do the research and make the choice that is right for you!
